My Aim is True

Procrastination

Today I was in the lucky position to be able to watch catch up telly in bed. Which is really handy as I was watching Dr Who and those weeping angels , so at least I could hide under the duvet.

Today, for various reasons I traversed the The Meadows (HRH's front garden) three times. . First time there were lots of folks milling about, getting beer and food. Second time, the heady aroma of BBQs and jazz cigarettes, was quite summery. Third time, well there are some really hardened BBQ-ers still out there.

How hot was it today? Very hot, actually! Bloody hell. Won't it be great if it's like this all summer.

And guess what? This is the weekend that I have to do the Big Job at work, and the Really Big Manual job at home. Great! Why,oh why,oh why did I not do these tasks when the weather wasn't so good.

And this evening I realised why The Church now has really, really, really small congregations. I have worked out their problem (well...... apart from the mysogyny, child abuse, financial irregularities and abuse of power *); it's the seating. It's really, really uncomfortable. No wonder no one wants to go to church.

*, oh and that fact that religion is all nonsense
