i love you more than bacon (part II)
Today I helped my mentor and good friend Aaron at one of his weddings as the second shooter. I love being the second shooter at a wedding. I get to tag along, shot beautiful people, not have to do the "mandatory" family portraits and have no stress! :) I would do this for a living if it provided medical benefits! Aaron is an amazing photographer. He is underpaid for what he does. He is able to get shots from people that I could not get no matter how much I tried. It is not just his technical knowledge of lighting, exposures, etc. but he has a way to get just about anyone to react to the lens that I find remarkable. I have never been around anyone that can get people to react they way he does. He is a master at his craft!
Anyway onto my blip - since I was the second shooter and this was not "my" wedding to shoot I am going to be respectful and not post the pictures of the bride and groom that I shot. Even though I have a real sweet one that I am dying to post ;)
I have decided to post my "Wilbur" shot instead. There were two pigs at this wedding venue over in a pen behind the house. I discovered them on my walk back from shooting the sign on the street that said welcome to so & so's wedding. I liked this shot the best because I choose to focus on pigs nose and his nasty snot hanging from it. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
p.s. you never know what your going to find at weddings these days :)
