An Oasis in a wilderness

Think of what can be achieved with blood, sweat and smiles.
This is all things that Malawi is NOT.
It's neat, tidy, productive and progressive.
The women and men have worked here constantly since the beginning, starting at 8am and finishing at 3pm (It gets dark before 6 pm) and with no lighting all the cooking and chores have to be done.
They are willing to try new crops and new methods
And they are making great progress towards the early stage of self sufficiency.

John,
The guys in Ekaiweni have a problem with water, they are now using tins to irrigate their crops. We have planned to start digging dams so that we can store water. They will learn from the guys in Sonda.

In Sonda we were doing some more compost, we mixed maize hasks 1tin,cattle manure 1tin and dry hedge leaves 1tin and 1/2tin water to make 23:21:0 in the coming 21days.
Regards
Harisen.
