Return of the House Martins

Sorry about the quality of the photograh. Our House Martins have returned from southern climes to take up their Summer residence under the eves. This bird is sitting in residence while the rest of the familly go foraging for nest repair materials and food. We have a lot of them in the village and the sight of them swooping in and out of the garden and flying low over the road is quite exhilerating. I will try to get a better picture later.
