Lone Tree

Another glorious beautiful day!

This morning we needed to get hold of a bit of general food and replenish the asparagus supplies so we headed out in the car!

It was wonderful - sunroof and windows open, Mendelssohn blasting, warm air blowing on my bare arms and legs. Felt just like being on holiday somewhere warm (although pleasantly warm, not boiling hot like the day we drove out into the Sahara in Morocco and the water in our bottles was hot enough to make tea)!

I really wanted to simply point the camera upwards and take a shot of the beautiful blue sky, but thought that would be a bit dull - so pulled the car over into a layby and took a picture of this tree that took my fancy!

So hoping for a warm summer. This is just the best weather ever! The only thing that would make life better at the moment would be living by the sea, but I'll settle for this!
