Broken down nurse

All hands on deck for the nurse.

While visiting an elderly neighbour, one of local angels' car died. No amount of head shaking and hip holding could resurrect it. Eventually a very nice man came to sort it and hey presto, off she went on her rounds.

We had a bit of an Epiphany today and decdided late afternoon that we had to rip up the stair carpet. Ally has another description, "A stupid idea".
We now have a very jaggy edged bare wooden star and landing. The two "Sales people" who tried to SELL us a "Good Deal" in the two shops we managed to get to before closing, were a tad pushy, even to the extent of running out to our car to offer an extra 10% off. We ungratefully declined.

So the hunt is on for the new stair covering, but of course we now have to paint the skirtings and the wall could do with a coat, oh and while we're at it the kitchen needs a coat to finish it off.

Ok, it was a bluddy stupid idea.
