Perhaps I can see the light
Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been blipping for almost a week.
The explanation is simple - I just couldn't be arsed. I don't know exactly what it was, but I think it was a combination of having to spend obscenely long hours at work, having to do some of the most creative spreadsheet design ever done coupled with a visit from the black dog.
Unlike Flick, who was able to take a picture a day during her rest, I couldn't even find the energy to unzip the camera bag. I also couldn't even find time to look at the site on some days.
The work is over now, as deadlines have been met, although the company is in an integration turmoil with new structures being set up. So nobody knows their future. I'm sure I'll find out my fate when I come back off my long, long overdue holiday...
We are having a week's holiday next week, and I'm sure Flick will be coming up to Manchester, so I've been busy cleaning and hoovering and dusting and polishing. The bedside table is now in pristine condition, but unfortunately I spent so much time on it that the rest of the house is untouched.
Next week we are doing loads of exciting stuff that will include buying a proper Canon "L" type lens (or two) and going to the seaside. We will also be discussing whether it's worth buying a Canon 5D. I think my blip mojo may be coming back....
Incidentally, Flick has always thought I lived alone in Manchester. I have to confess that this is not strictly true. Yesterday's blip is a picture of her rival..
