Midnight street

Light is the way, and the way it will light,
A photo taken on a late Thursday night,
A lengthy shutter speed, and a man walking home,
Midnight is near, according to his phone.
The street lights make yellow, and the sky makes black,
Like a group of bees drunk on a fair amount of Jack.
I'm waffling now, so finger on lip,
So, here we are: tonight's Blip!
