I Scream

One minute we're playing a parachute game, and the next minute Mr DH comes over and asks, "Who wants ice cream?" As you can see, I was left standing in their dust.

There are many things I swore before parenthood and in early parenthood that I'd never do. One of those things was to invite my daughter's whole class to a birthday party. I thought parents who did that were nuts. As with pretty much all things I swore I'd never do as a parent, I found myself doing it. And it turns out I was right about such parents being nuts.
