Ruskin Tap c. 1886, Fulking, West Sussex
We had a lovely pub meal at the fabulous Shepherd and Dog in Fulking and a beautiful walk around the area afterwards.
The story goes that John Ruskin had friends who lived in Fulking and could be seen walking in the area. He was actually instumental in providing a public tap and getting the village a water supply. This fountain was built in 1886 in honour of John Ruskin.
I think it's beautiful.
"When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece."
