Good Parenting

There's a lot of good parenting happening on our rooftops just now. It was such a beautiful evening that we ate outside on the patio. Our House Martins are still backwards and forwards, but we think it can only be a good food supply on our house wall because there is no sign of any nest building. The blackbirds took it in turns to visit the feeders in the tree. Chaffinches flew overhead as we ate our pasta and I spotted starlings under next door's eaves. These jackdaws are sitting on their nest in our neighbour's chimney pot. Great view from up there!
