Flood the world deep in sunlight
This is a still life.
I was fascinated by it. It actually makes the hallway look quite lovely.
On the wall - you can see our love of photos and each other. I think you can see that all of the pictures are us, many of us in life Jackets, because they were taken in a little boat that we sailed around Shuna. We have been to Shuna 3 years now. We aren't going this year, because we are keeping our Money for Boy To Canada Fund.
In the corner, on the angle, a little Brittan Boat. We spent a couple or three fantastic holidays camping in France. Brittany, and the Vendee are beautiful places to go. I love the French, and contrary to common opinion, we all found friendly and helpful - and delighted with our attempts to sound French!
My Candle. I like candles, and I like smells. This oil burner is a joy. I have a little Yankee Cake burning a lovely smell. Such a nice smell Tooli-belle-Aurora just came in there, and said "oooh, what a lovely smell". But then again, she has just come from a sweaty volleyball hall, so I suppose anything would smell better.
Hair Wax, and Hair serum. Vital when you wear polystyrene knickers. It causes such commotion with the Static Electricity! A quick dod of Serum to kill the static, and a quick wipe of wax to make my hair look "funky". Although I have to admit that on several occassions, I have had a "something about mary moment", with my hair.... (note to self, examine hair closely before you leave house).
Antiseptic hand gel. I'm a bit preoccupied with germs right now, and this reassures me that I'm keeping myself clean. (ha! and I say my Toolibelle has quirks).
Perfume. Arran Aromatics, After The Rain. When I had my hysterectomy, my next door neighbour, brought me Arran Aromatics in - body wash and lotion. The smell was so lovely and clean and fresh - just like, after the rain. It made me feel gorgeous and well; and if ever I feel the need for a quick pick me up - Squirt of this does the trick.
Victor and Rolf, Flowerbomb. Possibly one of the BEST smells I have ever smelt. I cannot describe how lovely it is. If you don't have it. Find it and smell it. It smells great on EVERYONE, but it is ridiculously expensive. Steal it.
Calvin Klein. This is my sons! We all like to smell in this house. His girlfriend loves this, but I prefer Paul Smith for him. Much fresher and boy like.
Paris. This was the first gift my boyfriend, before he was my husband bought me. It was quite a grown up smell for a mental 22 year old, but I loved it. No one had ever bought me perfume before. Honest! I will always go back to it. It makes me feel, beautiful, warm, loved and his.
That's all for tonight. Not profound, or thoughtful, just a wee look at my hall table. (Good job you couldn't all see the mess going on underneath it!)
