Sleepy Old Man

The green-covered range is the south face of the Caldera running from near the highest point of La Palma at 2426 metres down towards the port of Tazacorte.

If you look carefully, apply your imagination, you will see the outline of an old man laying down with his hands clasped on his stomach.

They say that when the old man stands up, then the island will be destroyed.

Apologies if I t have posted this photo before - I like to take it just in case the old man jumps up one day.
