This is the view that HM The Queen saw from her carriage when she travelled to the State Opening of Parliament in London, where the UK's coalition government announced its plans for the next 18 months.

Parliament Square is bordered by the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

Protesters have established camp on the square. The Mayor of London and Westminster Council want to tear it down.
