Hawthorn Blossom
Went to a nearby reserve to check on a Mute Swan and her cygnets (she hatched nine). They're all still there but some will eventually fall prey to the Mink that live on the reserve. The Mink have spread rapidly since some irresponsible person released them into the wild. They do untold damage to native wildlife and will hunt and kill anything within their reach.
I didn't manage to get near to the swans for a blip but photographed this Hawthorn Blossom on the way back.
