Turning Leaves
This is my fifth summer-fall in Alaska, but I paid little attention to the color change before Blip. As an East coast snob, I never figured no area in the world could hold a candle to the mid Atlantic and New England foliage change. In Alaska, you don't look up. You look at your feet. No place I've ever lived showed such rapid ground cover growth and subsequent fall involution as I've seen here. No wonder the marijuana growers love it here.
Too bad this week's assignment isn't color.
