paradise begins

the trip to waco was refreshing and life-giving. it's nice to be known. to be immediately understood. i like that the people in waco know my past. i'm sad they don't know much of the present. but hopefully they know i'm doing well. life is good. life is really good.

it was good to catch up, but mostly it was good to just exist. to just be with the people who love me best.

i am thankful. very, very thankful for the friends i have in my life.

look at them. overlooking the brazos and waco. what a glorious place.
