It's Goin' Down

This old steel bridge over the Ohio River at Bellaire is soon to be no more. It has been sitting there, rusting and unused for at least the last 20 years. In a couple weeks they'll start removing the deck and, once it's gone, dynamite will finish the job. Once it's in the water they'll use cranes to lift out the debris and it'll be sold for junk.

Everyone over a certain age and within a certain area has a story from their life that is connected to this old structure and it will be sad to see it go.
