in the bath

as a child i was terrified of spiders, then it became too much effort to be scared & i can have small ones on my hand. but we get huge ones, (this was about 6cm across from leg tip to leg tip & that's huge to me! but probably nothing compared to those that EzHighway has in his journal) usually in the autumn, in the house & am wary of them. if they're running across the carpet - very fast!! - you can actually hear a tiny sound as they run if it's quiet.... i use a glass & a piece of card slipped under to put them out.

this was in the bath & i found i was merely interested as i bent at a difficult angle to get a reasonable shot

and yes, i released him/her outside...prefer a glass so i CAN see it & know i'm not trapping legs.
