Well Stacked and Tiny

More inside Blipping this evening playing with my recently purchased extension tubes from eBay. This time with the addition of another, newly arrived, toy.....a Manfrotto 454 focusing rail (from Amazon this time, not eBay). This lets me take a whole 'stack' of macro shots at tightly controlled focus positons and then perform Focus Stacking to get a single shot with large Depth of Field (at least for a macro shot) using CombineZP software.

I'm pretty encouraged by my first results....off now to find more willing (and very small) subjects for the technique!
