Rain gauge

Yes, a watery blip today. We were always used to recording rainfall when farming and since we have been in town, we have missed measuring it, even though it doesn't matter to us personally, too much these days how much or how little rain we get. Recently we decided we'd get a gauge now we are in our new home.
The gauge shows what rain we received overnight.
We have had four inches (100 mm) of rain since Monday. Today we haven't had much rain, just a few showers including some hail.
