A disgrace

The weed is back in the boating lake with a vengeance. Years ago, the lake would be emptied and cleaned, but not now. Cost cutting ,I suppose, and yet this building has been refurbished from the old Booking Office for Dinosaur World ( which is no longer) to a Wildlife Study Centre at a cost to the Council Tax payers of tens of thousands of pounds. It has taken months to convert - new roof, rendering, windows, railings, gates, painted, heated etc etc. I've yet to see anyone using it, but maybe in the future.
To me, the priorities of the Council are wrong. Now there are gardeners in the Park, busy planting out, ready for 'The Wales in Bloom' Competition, which they nearly always win. The grass has been cut and everywhere looks quite colourful and pristine.........except the boating lake. I can't understand it!
