The great escape
The cattle that bide in the fields around our house during the summer
are a frisky bunch. We frequently see them galloping around the field,
chasing each other and passing wildlife. They also go through periods
of escaping. The worst was when the whole lot invaded our garden and
had a bounce up and down the kids small trampoline. (Wish I'd been
blipping at that point!) Usually they only escape by knocking down a
fence or finding a gate left open but sometimes they take to jumping
the fence.
So far they've been two fence loupers this week. We realised they were
up to something when the lot in the left field were stampeding up and
down, making a ridiculous noise... obviously they were cheering her
on. Not quite sure where she was going but we called the farmer, who
patiently herded her back down the road and gave her a telling off.
I'll be keeping an eye out for any more escapees... I'd love to be
able to blip of a coo mid leap.
