The Deer House
Today it seems all I have done is exercised.
The best part was, undoubtedly, my walk through the Bishops Park in Bishop Auckland. Pictured is the Deer House, which did at one time have a roof, built obviously, to shelter and feed the deer which used to roam the park way back when.
Nowadays the sheep sometimes get up there, but its mainly walkers who roam the park and always stop to look at what remains of the building. I really hope the church don't sell Auckland Castle off, as they are planning to. Its park and grounds would be a great loss to the town.
