Did an evening boat trip on the Firth of Forth organised by RSPB.
There were lots of birds but my interest was more in being out on the water and as always I was enchanted by the views of the bridges.
It was very chilly but lots of sea birds and seals were spotted and great excitement ensued when puffins appeared. Is it the cute factor or what?
My little camera wasn't up to capturing anything major in wildlife terms so I focused on the engineering.
The rail bridge is Scotland's largest listed building apparently....so, I did learn something.
