Sunday ride to the lake...
After the previous ride I was enthusiastic for the next one.
The ride started without a lot of planning as to where we were going but the good weather certainly made us very positive and made me want to ride longer. The cantonment area is simply lush green and very soothing to the eyes. We kept riding... there was a gentle breeze that later turned out to be a strong wind and in a disadvantage to our riding. We had a headwind all the way which made the riding very tough. I was tempted to go to the lake in spite of this and we did just that. We did just that but I was too exhausted to come back. We were already done with 30 kms as we had taken a longer route through the cantonment. I slowed down tremendously and one of the bikers had to give me a push the last 10 kms. I was a little embarrassed but it was a huge help. He was a professional who was in India for a year and had been riding 100 kms a day through London traffic during his university days. He treated this as a work out and it did 'workout' well for me too :)
When i was back home I actually crashed and slept like anything. The next time I should be careful not to bite more than I can chew. :) Here are the rest of the pictures.
