Race Day

Up at 3. Passed more deer than I could imagine lived in the Forest getting to the race. Jumped into this for a 6.15 start - this is the view of Beulieu river as I put my wetsuit on. The organiser said there would be a negligeable current. Try telling that to me and the others all hanging to the side of a moored boat before the start gun went off!

Great fun. Time was good too, although I did swallow enough water in the melee to keep me in salt for a month or two.. ;)
