Oh deer!

Got back from swimming (having stopped off on the way home to photograph a mare and new foal in the Forest), opened the back door to hang the towels on the line, and this little lady was stood chomping on one of our myriad blackberry bushes!

I startled her, and she jumped the fence into the field behind. Went in to grab the camera and she was still there, watching. She posed for a few photos, then was further startled by a pheasant taking off noisily, so turned tail and ran.

In other news, Son Two is a whole 7 months old today! Cannot believe how fast the time is going!
