Rontgen

This is Rontgen, my sister's cat, sleeping on my mom's bed. Rontgen was a stray kitten when my sister rescued him from a dark alley behind the x-ray department at Pretoria Academic Hospital. We were all still students at the time. He is now almost 10 years old.

My sister emigrated to Australia about 5 years ago and only comes home once or twice a year... so Rontgen has now adopted my dad as his "substitute person" when my sister isn't around and even sits on his lap while my dad has breakfast in the mornings.

What Rontgen doesn't know, is that my sister will be arriving home for the soccer world cup in less than 3 weeks. A pleasant surprise for a lovely old cat:)
