Mong Kok
Yes, here we are again. Its the main shopping place for us recently, we walked down Ladies' Street to grab a few cheap things... if you have good haggling skills that is!
We were just walking up to the top so that we can start from one end of Tung Choi Street when we walked past a cinema. J was thinking if they had Ip Man 2 showing at a decent time as our bridal photographers was talking about this great martial arts film, telling us that we have to see it. We looked at the times and there was a 2pm showing, only 10 minutes into the start? We asked the box office to see if we can stil go in for it and he said as long as you don't mind missing the first 5 minutes. We bought the tickets and bought some pop corn and ran up the stairs as quick as we could! Only missing a few minutes as there were only five minutes of trailers apparently.
The film was really really really good in the end. Thats the first time I've been into a cinema in Hong Kong, its quite weird, before you go into the seating area from the hallwat, you normally expect a door... but in this cinema, it was a black cloth that was shielding the light from the hallway out. The seats are all at the same level, on the plus side - leg room and the size of the seats were more than enough!
We then continued to walk the streets and swiftly went into a shop and bought Ip Man on DVD! :@)
