5am start

Got myself out on the bike this morning for a quick 30 mile ride before the rain comes (which is forecast to be heavy today).

For around 90 minutes I experienced what the roads are like without cars. I didn't see or hear another person or vehicle for 25 miles. Fantastic. The only other living things I saw were a Roe deer running through the fields, a buzzard hunting and the cows and sheep in the fields.

The new wheels are fantastic - absolutely delighted with them.

Sat out the back with my espresso when I got back feeling pretty good that my training for today is done.
