here comes the sun: s&j
well. they are married.
joy!!!!
it was a gift and a joy to be a part of this wedding. mostly because it has been a gift and a joy to watch them fall in love.
it's been pretty clear all along that justin was the man for steph. but i have to say, that after meeting the other bridesmaids and hearing about steph's life prior to the two years i've known her - that it is very clear that justin is the man for her. i don't quite know why, but i could just tell.
how beautiful is that?
what i've seen is a difficult kind of love. the love that takes work, and sacrifice, and self-denial. that's really the only kind of love i know to be real. but, it's been laced with joy, peace, and really, like coming home. i feel like marrying justin is like coming home for steph.
i'm excited for the life they are going to build together. i'm excited to be a part of it.
i felt so lucky at the wedding. as much as i wanted to hang out with steph and justin, i didn't feel i needed to, because i am one of the very few that get to live with them in boston.
i wish they would come home already, so we could start this new life.

my beloved speaks and says to me: 'arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away, for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. the flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come...my beloved is mine, and i am his.'
song of solomon.
