Trooping the Colour

Today was the first of Major General's Review of two rehearsals for the Trooping the Colour ceremony to celebrate the Queen's birthday which will be held on the 12th June this year. I didn't even know this was on I stumbled across it whilst out and about taking photographs of elephants (what else!) - I found 20 today before I decided that the rain was too much and when walking back to the station I realised if I was quick I'd be able to grab a few shots - shame really as it was a hard choice more elephants, foot guards or mounted but in the end this photo kept catching my eye so decision made.
