Patience!

Late getting a blip today and walked out with camera and spotted this young chico waiting by a main door to a flat just round the corner from our house. The pressie was obviously for his girlfriend and he spent ages and ages preening himself in the door panel before ringing the buzzer. Then he waited. And waited. And waited. And so did I because I wanted a shot of his girlfriend's face when she saw the lovely stripey-wrapped pressie! Now in Spain, boyfriends and girlfriends are only introduced to parents when it's fairly serious and only then do they get invited into the home. Otherwise, like this young lad, you wait outside! He eventually settled down against the barrier and I walked off, having to be satisfied with what I'd taken. He wasn't there when I got back an hour or so later, so hopefully it all worked out!
