The dog chews them, Anna tries to tear them up and yet they keep bouncing back and multiplying. That's my kind of plant. I want to say they are Canna Lilies, but I'm not positive. It's baking hot again today. We took my mother in law out to the store and I dug up some dead plants for her so we could plant hydrangeas. If I don't get started early in the morning and adjust to the heat, I just can't take it. Today is our lazy day. Tomorrow it's yardwork and grass cutting and weeding the garden if the weather permits. I have a splitting headache and noticed the weather was talking about a low in the area with a severe thunderstorm watch until 8pm tonight. That's probably the cause for the headache. Most of us around here are sensitive to pressure changes and weather. I can forecast rain a day ahead just by the sneezing fits that come on! I'm probably a little more accurate than the local weatherman too!
