Summers' end

The passing of the sunflowers always marks, for me, the passing of Summer into the twighlight between Summer and Autumn. The leave are not necessarily falling from the trees, but the heat has started to sap from the sun and dusk chases the sun from the day, rather than ambling in to fill the void.
