Special Shoes

... and not in a Tim Minchin kind of way!

These shoes were a present for me this week, from my partner.

Not only are they lovely, and just what I wanted and needed, but they're possibly the only item of clothing that's ever been bought for me by anybody, at least since my mum bought me stuff when I was little.

So not only do the shoes mean the world to me, but the person who bought them showed that he listens, pays attention and is the most thoughtful and caring person I think I've ever had the pleasure to know.

I really am one lucky, lucky person to have him in my life!
