High Time

It's high time these plants got planted.

So off we went to what used to be Woolies and I bought 40l of compost, put it in a blue and yellow bag and heaved it on my back. This is heavy! But I laboured on to the nursery and swapped the children for the compost so we all walked apart from the compost which got a ride in the buggy.

After the kids had gone to bed I went to work on the balcony planting these carrots, lettuce, spring onions and some other vegetable which will be a surprise since I cannot remember what I planted!

At the time of writing - this is a backblip - the salad has really grown well and even the mystery vegetable is growing too
