Living on the Edge

On our way up to northern Michigan, we drove through the town of Silver Lake, which is separated from Lake Michigan by these sand dunes. If you climb to the top, you can view both Lake Michigan and Silver Lake.

We spotted this house at the base of the dunes. Even with the protective fence preventing climbers from walking too near the house, we do believe the sand will finally have its say one day.
