A quiet day

Spent the day in the house doing a lot of things that needed doing, although of course not all of them (that never happens). I only went out briefly for a few oddments in what turned out to be a heavy rain shower, so returned with only this photo (apart from the oddments).

I'm not sure when I started reading drain covers - but I was reminded of it by Lady F who seems to have started blipping pieces of urban metalwork recently. Others are at it as well.

I wonder when the Comley Bank Foundry was closed. Can't imagine that sort of thing going on there now - my goodness, they're practically adjacent to Fettes and they even have a Waitrose!
