reaching for the light

I've been meaning to wander around Westonbirt Arboretum with my camera for some time, after seeing the wonderful results obtained by some of my flickr contacts, but it's a bugger to get to without transport. So I was happy when my parents decided to pop up there this afternoon.

So I played the shutterbug, while they took an interest in the place and the trees themselves. I was doubly pleased because I went out on a photowalk in Bath this morning, didn't get a single decent picture, and came back dejected. A second chance then.
