Moving day
As Phil Armstrong approached his storage building, he was surprised to see the doors wide open.
Cautiously he walked to the edge of the side entrance, not knowing what to expect - worried that it might be the police; he couldn't imagine anyone else having the nerve to break in. Well, not in broad daylight, anyway.
As he peered round the door, he saw Hewson and the Major. "Make yourselves at home, why don't you." he called to them.
"Ah, Brother Armstrong! How goes it?" asked Hewson, not embarrassed in the slightest.
"Well, until you two scared me shitless, I was fine thanks." he replied. "And can we drop all this 'brother-this, and brother-that' crap?"
"Got to keep up appearances, old son," said the Major. "Never know who's listening in. And we do have some recruits coming along soon to help us move the device. Don't want to make a slip in front of them, do we."
"Move?" asked Armstrong. "First I've heard. Why are we moving it?"
"Oh sorry - I forgot you don't know. We took possession of the church this morning. Isn't that wonderful news? So it only seems right to move the device to its rightful home. And while this building has been terribly convenient, you'd have to agree that it's more than a little...grubby."
