this is the chicken that crossed the road

to get back to the side it had started from (and its friend that went with it for the trip)
These two caused a minor incident on our narrow lane yesterday as they chose to hurtle across the road as just about the one and only car of the day drove past. Cue screeching tyres, panic struck chickens, excited children and the people in the car nearly peeing themselves laughing.
The picture shows them shortly afterwards pretending that nothing happened and it wasn't their fault anyway.
