Glencoe

Bank holiday Monday! I went up the Buachaille this morning. It was my 12th ascent though a gap of 10years has passed since the 11th ascent!

I scrambled up the Curved Ridge and was on the summit by 10:30. It is such a picturesque mountain - the camera battery was flat by the time I got back to the car.

The views today were extensive - I could see Ben More on Mull in the west, and all the way to the Cairngorms in the east.

The picture is the view west from the summit, with patchy snow on Bidean nam Bian on the left and Loch Linnhe in the distance.
