How many more?
the picture was taken at an improptu rally at the mound, edinburgh tonight. bigger demo same place from 2pm saturday. today is an all too familiar feeling. i wrote this after ten year old Mohamed El- dura was killed whilst being shielded by his father from Iraeli gunshot.I dedicate it to him and all todays victims.
This boy he threw the first stone
That boy paid with his lifes own
There'll be uprise
There'll be a price to pay
Slingshots,hands and bravery
against the might of armoury
and some will leave
quicker than they came
our teachers and leaders they feed us our feelings
one side on a bended knee
one side speaks of history
voices strain just to get an ear
keep the eye that sees for you
feed us all your favoured
there'll be a price
there'll be uprise again
our teachers and leaders they feed us our feelings
while flicker pictures bend the news
