Hardman house
Today I took a tour of famous Liverpool photographer Edward Chambre Hardman's house and studio at 59 Rodney Street, arranged by Enya. His wife, often overlooked, was multitalented and vivacious, and they worked side by side until she died of cancer. Although 20 years older, he lived another 18 years grieving for his soulmate. How wonderful must it be to find the love of your life and spend your days taking magnificent pictures for business and pleasure?
This is a small display of some of the many treasures in the house, now owned and managed by the National Trust. I love the sign:
Christmas presents this year will be more of a problem than ever.
Remember... photographs are not rationed.
They solve many difficulties.
