Hawaii - Day 5

The Polynesian Cultural Center

We drove up to the North Shore of Oahu today to go to a Luau. The cultural center was really cool. There were a bunch of different presentations explaining Polynesian Culture. We learned how to Hula dance (but now I forgot it) and how to open a coconut and get milk and juice out of it.

This is the Coconut Tree Climber. He had a lovely New Zealand accent! =]

We ate yummy food at the Luau. My favorite part was the purple potato bread. (I had four roles. :p)

Then we got to see a show. There was a lot of playing with fire and hula dancing. It was spectacular!
