Dumbarton Distillery

This is a photo of the old distillery on a rather gloomy day in Dumbarton. When the distillery was closed the plan was to turn these huge red towers into exclusive flats but i believe planning permission was denied.

Whatever happens i hope they are not demolished. They have been an important feature in the town for years and it would be a shame to loose them. Hopefully they are restored and provide a reminder of the important part the distillery played in the history of the town.
