Somewhere Up There

The day finally came that I knew would but really hoped it wouldn't. Sassy has moved on and up in my neighbors tree. She has been gone since Friday . I saw her Sunday morning on the fence headed that way, walked over to her and she just reached out and grabbed my hand and then went on her way. I haven't seen her since then. I don't have to tell you that this has been the hardest release I have ever done. There has beena tear or two shed the last few days.It sure feels lonely on my back porch now. Hopefully she will come and visit once she has her new home all set up.
