Pix-os

Here is E, the little Wii addict. He LOVES the Wii. He can't wait to play it each day, and he never tires of it. It's becoming a bit of a problem. So yesterday I pulled out the kitchen timer and introduced the concept of "screen time." I never really envisioned doing this, because the kids aren't big TV watchers. But I suppose it was inevitable. Tonight after dinner he was eager to play some Super Mario, so I set the timer and hoped for the best. With a couple of warnings as the minutes ticked closer to 0, he put the Wii away without complaint and we moved on to reading books, playing a board game, and then creating something with his Pix-os. (Phew! Let's hope the timer trick continues to go as smoothly.)
